THE GREEK COMMUNITY OF TORONTO
AND THE PAN - MACEDONIAN FEDERATION
OF CANADA
Ladies and gentlemen,
We commemorate the Greek Independence Day
of March 25, 1821 with the following functions:
- Raising of the Greek Flag at Queen's Park on Friday March 23, 2018 at 12:00pm
- Gala on Friday March 23, 2018 at Parkview Manor. Doors open at 6:30pm
- Raising of the Greek Flag at City Hall on Saturday March 24, 2018 at 11:00am
- Parade on Sunday March 25, 2018 at 1:00pm followed by a wreath laying ceremony at the Alexander the Great Park. Reception at the Macedonian Cultural Center will follow.
WE ARE FACING MANY ISSUES HERE AND IN GREECE AND WE SHOULD SHOW STRENGTH AND UNITY.
WE CANNOT DO THAT WITHOUT ATTENDING THESE FUNCTIONS.
WE CANNOT CELEBRATE A GALA WITHOUT YOUR PRESENCE AND MOST OF YOU HAVE
NOT DECLARED YOUR INTENTION TO ATTEND.
